Kingsport Ballet's purpose is to provide dance education through instruction of excellence and professional quality performing opportunities. Our summer workshop instruction includes Character, Historical, Modern and Jazz, and a variety of seminar topics.

We have seven story ballets in our repertory: Swan Lake, Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, Coppelia, Giselle, and The Nutcracker. There is no match to Giselle, the latest addition to our ballet collection, when it comes to Romantic-Era ballets. Professionals are challenged by the nuances of the acting and performance, while students become enveloped in a rich and true classic which has stood the test of time. From creating sets and costumes to capturing the other-worldly beauty of the Wilis in Act II, the making of Giselle has been a challenge well worth taking.
